WHAT A NIGHT!
The stunning Catherine Tyldesley slipped into a Jessica rabbit style red dress designed especially for the night by fashion designer Nadine Merabi as she kicked of this year’s celebrations.
Watched by guests including Helen Flanagan, Brooke Vincent and Chelsee Healey, the Corrie actress wowed us all with her show stopping voice.
Following Catherine, guests were wowed with a DJ set from Emmerdale’s latest hunk, Anthony Quinlan, famous for his character Gilly Roach in Hollyoaks, Rowetta and New Order legend, Peter Hook and a surprise performance from The Big Reunion star and ‘I Can Make You Feel Good’ singer Kavanagh.
This year was particularly special as we were celebrating 25 years of Forever Manchester and we are so pleased that thanks to all of our guests and sponsors we were able to raise more than £40,000. We must also thank the boys from Verdure Floral Design who made the room look gorgeous – thanks so much to Adie and Kai.
Andrew Trott-Barn said; “Wow! What a fantastic night. Our aim was to make this year’s Mirror Ball bigger and better and it certainly was. The guests were wonderful and we raised over £40k for Forever Manchester in this important 25th year for the charity. The highlight was the stunning Catherine Tyldesley and her show stopping voice and dress. What a super star. Thank you so much to everyone who came along making it yet another special night.”
Nick Massey, chief executive of Forever Manchester told us; “Last night’s Mirror Ball was a super start to our 25th year celebrations. Andrew and his team have more than tripled the figure they raised last year and we are extremely grateful to them for all of their hard work. This level of donation will be invaluable to the local groups and initiatives that we support.
“They couldn’t have done it without the support of the guests and the terrific performers including Catherine Tyldesley, Rowetta, Peter Hook, Kavanagh and the hosts Rob Ellis and Wingman from the Capital FM Breakfast Show. Here’s to the rest of the year being as successful as last night.”
